| Macrame Threads
For creating beautiful pieces with macrame techniques we sell a selection of threads. C-Lon is a fine cord, just under 0.5mm in diameter, which is suitable for micro macrame work and is used extensively in the books of Sherri Haab, Kris Buchanan and Joan Babcock; This thread is £2.95 per bobbin or you can select any 10 assorted for £25. We also sell rayon knotting cord - usually associated with threading semi-precious stones and pearls this thread also works well in fine knotting projects. Hemp is an old favourite - available in a variety of colours for traditional larger macrame pieces. And, of course, there is also rattail - a shiny thread that is most often seen in Chinese knotting projects.
Not listed in this section, but also very good for macrame and knotting projects is our cotton cord selection. This has a smooth finish and is easy to knot and use and is ideal if you wish to practice your knots in a thicker thread before moving onto one of the finer cords.
