Pricing
The goods prices shown on our pages are in UK pounds sterling and include VAT (currently 17.5%) with the
exception of books and printed matter which is currently zero rated. Customers outside the EU will be charged without VAT. All payments will be processed in pounds sterling.
Although we endeavour to maintain the prices listed we reserve the right to change them without notice.
Post and packing charges are dependant on order value and weight. See below for full details.
Payment
At the time of order. We do not offer credit and goods will only be despatched upon receipt of full payment. All goods remain the property of The Spellbound Bead Co until paid for in full.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Switch/Maestro. We cannot accept Solo for mail order transactions.
First Order:-Due to fraud prevention procedures we can only despatch your first order to the registered card address.
Security
Payment details are entered through a secure site provided by Sage Pay.

UK Destinations
UK Orders - We send items up to 2kg by first class post, if the total parcel weight exceeds this, the order will be split into smaller parcels and sent by the most economical route. UK postal charges apply to all areas covered by the standard UK Royal Mail postal service:
Post and packing for UK orders is charged on total order value as follows:-
Order value less than £20 - £2
Order value from £20 to £39.99 - £3.00
Order value from £40 to £59.99 - £4.50
Order value from £60 to £79.99£6.00
Order value from £80 - Carriage free
Postage Upgrade for UK Orders (mainland) If you would like to upgrade to Special Delivery you can select this option in the check out pages for an additional fee of £6. This service guarantees delivery by 1pm on the day after despatch (Saturday delivery is at the discretion of the local delivery service, and so Friday despatch is not guaranteed for Saturday and may be delivered on the following Monday).
Postage Upgrade for UK orders (Channel Islands and Isle of Man) - If you would like to upgrade to Special Delivery you can select this option in the check out pages for an additional fee of £5.11. This service guarantees delivery on the first working day after despatch (Saturday delivery is at the discretion of the local delivery service, and so Friday despatch is not guaranteed for Saturday and may be delivered on the following Monday). Exceptions to this are deliveries to Sark and Herm which are currently advised as two working days from date of despatch. Please see the Royal Mail website www.royalmail.com for current rules rules and restrictions on Special Delivery services.

Destinations Outside the UK
Subject to current Debit/Credit card restrictions for fraud prevention, and the availability of a suitable (protected) postal service in the place of receipt we can despatch to most worldwide destinations.
Orders in excess of 3kg in weight will incur an extra postage charge of no more than 15% of the total value of your order. If your order exceeds this weight we will notify you of the extra charges by email and will not proceed until you have agreed the extra charges.
Insurance At checkout you will have the option to add insurance to your postage for a cost of £6. This will cover your parcels for loss or damage in transit and we would recommend this option for any items of value.
European Destinations (for orders under 3kg in weight)

Additions to orders: If, having placed your order, you remember that you need to add extra item/s to your web order, we are able to do this if your order has not already been invoiced to a total value of no more than 15% of the value of the order placed on-line. Items above this value will be treated as a new order. To add extra items please contact us by phone or email, as soon as possible after placing the initial order, giving your name, the order number, and full details of the item/s you would like adding.
Paying with Gift vouchers: If you have been given Spellbound Gift Vouchers you can use them against your web order. To do this enter your order in the usual way on the system; when you receive your confirmation of order email reply to it stating that you have gift vouchers and list the amount and code of each voucher that you have. The total amount of the vouchers will then be deducted from your order value at the time of processing
Despatch: The majority of orders are despatched within one working day of receipt, however this can be longer at very busy times. If your order will take more than 3 working days to despatch we will contact you. Special requests, custom kits and large wholesale quantities can take up to seven days. Please ensure when entering your contact details that we have a reliable telephone number or email contact for you so that we can address any queries promptly.
Out of Stock Items: Although we endeavour to keep the web-site fully updated and to only advertise goods for sale that are in-stock, occasionally periods of high demand may lead to a delay between an item selling out and being removed from the web-site. Where this happens we will contact you and offer an alternative if one is available. We do not hold back orders for out of stock items.
Returns: You may return any unsuitable items within 14 days of invoice date. All returns must be in their original packaging and in an unused condition. Please also enclose a note explaining the reason for the return together with your name, invoice number, address and telephone number. We will also need to know whether you wish the value of the returned items to be credited to your Spellbound account against future orders, or to be refunded to you.
Returned items which are not in new or unused condition or which are returned after the approval period may not be credited to your account unless they are faulty. Delivery charges are non-refundable as this part of our service to you has been completed.
Description of Goods
The beads and kits illustrated are available in a variety of colours; gold, silver and bronze refer to colour effects only unless stated otherwise and crystal refers to a transparent glass, not a lead crystal or semi-precious material. The bead sizes are quoted in millimetres and are accurate within manufacturing limits. Different batches of beads can vary from one another - please order sufficient for your project. We cannot give a guarantee for the durability of dyed items.
Kit Colourways: Photographs are for illustrative purposes only. Although we endeavour to maintain bead content as close as possible to the pictured item, the exact contents of the kits may vary due to component availability.
Catalogue codes: each bead has a two letter code followed by a number. The letter code will give you information about the material the bead is made from:-

Other prefixes refer to the function of the article eg FN=Finding, BT= Beading Thread
Wholesale Quantities and Mixed Bead Packs: Most of our wholesale bags and MX code mixed packs are packed by weight and although all beads are subject to a visual check we cannot guarantee that there will not be a small percentage of broken or damaged items in the pack and all packs are priced accordingly.

Custom kits and special orders cannot be accepted for refund.
Gift vouchers can be purchased via the mail order office on the number below or at the shop but cannot at present be purchased through the website. Gift vouchers are available in £2; £5; £10 and £20 denominations and can be exchanged at the shop, at shows we attend around the UK, and against mail order transactions. Gift vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.
