Delivery & Returns

Post and Packing Charges:

UK Destinations

For UK destinations – including Channel Islands and BFPO – we have a simple choice of postage options.

Online – You will be offered three delivery options at checkout:-

  • Saver Delivery, which is Royal Mail 48 – or as we all know it, 2nd Class post. Delivery usually within 2 days of dispatch.
  • First Class Delivery, which is Royal Mail 24 – or as we know it, 1st class. Delivery usually within 1 day of dispatch.
  • Special Delivery, mainland UK, guaranteed to arrive by 1pm the day after the order is sent and which needs someone at the delivery address to sign for the order. **Please Note - Saturday delivery of Specials is at the discretion of the local delivery service so Special Delivery orders sent on a Friday may not be delivered until Monday – in our experience most Friday Specials to UK mainland are delivered on Saturday but this is not guaranteed.
  • Guaranteed Saturday Special Delivery – this is an upgrade to ensure Saturday Delivery – the cost is an extra £3 and can be arranged with our mail order team on 01543 417650.

High value or bulky orders may be sent in more than one parcel.

Post and packing for UK orders is charged on total order value as follows:-

Special Delivery – Exceptions to the ‘next day’ rule are deliveries to Sark and Herm. Please see the Royal Mail website at www.royalmail.com for current information on Special Delivery guarantees for these areas.

Please note we deal with all orders in strict rotation and do not offer a priority service.

Destinations Outside the UK

Subject to current Debit/Credit card restrictions for fraud prevention, and the availability of a suitable (protected) postal service in the place of receipt we can despatch to most worldwide destinations.

Orders in excess of 2kg in weight will incur an extra postage charge of no more than 15% of the total value of your order. If your order exceeds this weight we will notify you of the extra charges by email and will not proceed until you have agreed the extra charges.

Insurance – At checkout you will have the option to choose insured delivery for an extra £6. This will cover your parcels for loss or damage in transit and we would recommend this option for any items of value. The order is also tracked, and requires a signature when it arrives, so it is more likely to get to you safely.

European Destinations (for orders under 2kg in weight) Airmail 1st Class

  • Order value less than £20 - £3.50
  • Order value from £20 to £39.99 - £4.50
  • Order value from £40 to £59.99 - £6.00
  • Order value from £60 to £79.99 - £8.00
  • Order value from £80 to £99.99 - £10.00
  • Order value from £100 to £149.99 - £12.50
  • Order value from £150 to £199.99 - £16.00
  • Order value from £200 to £249.99 - £20
  • Orders of £250 and over will be charged as multiple parcels with carriage relevant to the above rates.

Non-European Destinations (for orders under 2kg in weight) Airmail 1st Class

  • Order value less than £20 - £5.00
  • Order value from £20 to £39.99 - £7.00
  • Order value from £40 to £59.99 - £10.00
  • Order value from £60 to £79.99 - £12.50
  • Order value from £80 to £99.99 - £15.00
  • Order value from £100 to £149.99 - £17.50
  • Order value from £150 to £199.99 - £20.00
  • Order value from £200 to £249.99 - £25.00
  • Orders of £250 and over will be charged as multiple parcels with carriage relevant to the above rates.

Additions to orders:

If, having placed your order, you remember that you need to add extra item/s to your web order, we are able to do this ONLY if your order has not already been packed. To add extra items please contact us by phone on 01543 417650, as soon as possible after placing the initial order, giving your name, the order number, and full details of the item/s you would like adding. Please be sure to have your card details to hand so that we can take payment for the additional items.

If the initial order has already been packed any additions will be treated as a new order.

Paying with Gift vouchers:

If you have been given Spellbound Gift Vouchers you can use them against your web order. To do this enter your order in the usual way on the system; when you receive your confirmation of order email reply to it stating that you have gift vouchers and list the amount and code of each voucher that you have. The total amount of the vouchers will then be refunded to the card or Paypal account you used when placing the order at the time of processing.

Despatch:

The majority of orders are despatched within one working day of receipt, however this can be longer at very busy times. If your order will take more than 3 working days to despatch we will contact you.

Special requests custom kits and large wholesale quantities can take up to seven days.

Please ensure when entering your contact details that we have a reliable telephone number or email contact for you so that we can address any queries promptly.

Out of Stock Items:

Although we endeavour to keep the web-site fully updated and only advertise goods for sale that are in-stock, occasionally periods of high demand may lead to a delay between an item selling out and being removed from the web-site.

If an item you have ordered is out of stock we will try to contact you by phone and/or email to see if you would like an alternative. If we do not hear back from you within 24 hours we will send the order without the out of stock items, refunding to your card or PayPal account the value of the out of stock items along with any refundable postage. This is to ensure that the orders are not delayed for more than a day due to an item going out of stock. We do not hold back orders for out of stock items.

Returns:

You may return any unsuitable items within 14 days of invoice date. All returns must be in their original packaging and in an unused condition. Please also enclose a note explaining the reason for the return together with your name, invoice number, address and telephone number. We will also need to know whether you wish the value of the returned items to be credited to your Spellbound account against future orders, or to be refunded to you.

Returned items which are not in new or unused condition or which are returned after the approval period may not be credited to your account unless they are faulty. Delivery charges are non-refundable as this part of our service to you has been completed.
