Find Spellbound Beads on Facebook

There are many beautiful threads around now for creating effects as a decorative part of your beadwork.  The most used is C-Lon thread - available now in 108 stunning colours, it is fine, beautiful to use, holds its shape, knots easily and creates stunning jewellery.  C-Lon is approx 0.5mm in diameter.  There is a thicker thread, C-Lon Tex 400 which is 0.9mm in diameter and is great for more substantial pieces of work.  You can also use synthetic knotting thread, and rattail cord for knotting, or, for a more textural effect, our Rayco cord is lovely to use.  Rayco has an irregular finish to it so is not used fo regular macrame style knotting but it is good for simple threading and loose weaving like plaiting.

There are many books available on macrame now with some fantastic ideas in.
