Below you will find out about what is happening, and in some cases what is not happening just yet!
For our Ruby Anniversary we have been given a very special gift by the super talented Sylvia Fairhurst.
Sylvia has designed this fabulous necklace just for us for our birthday!
Made using a mix of Delica beads and two sizes of Miyuki seed beads, and given a lot of sparkle with some gorgeous crystal beads this necklace is soft and delicate to hold and yet packs a real design punch.
If you would like to make this stunning design, whether in these gorgeous Ruby tones, or adapt it to your favourite colour scheme, you can download the pattern for FREE here.
About the designer:-
Sylvia has been beading, teaching beading and designing beading patterns for many years now and she is a fabulous tutor and loves to inspire people to bead. A leading light in the Beadworkers Guild from it's inception, she was also instrumental in setting up the Johnson Solids UK project that we were lucky enough to host a display of earlier in 2024. You can find out more about Sylvia on her facebook page, and if you hop over to our YouTube channel there is a short video of the Johnson Solids display as well as links to more information on this wonderful project.
International Beading Week is held each year at the end of July.
In the past four years we have created beading masterclasses for the week on our YouTube Channel, Julie has created a new masterclass with the theme of Memories for 2024. You can find these and our other master classes on Beaded Tassels, Love your Leftovers and Beaded Flowers plus hundreds more videos on our YouTube Channel
Julie and Vicky have both made a number of appearances on Create & Craft
We have no more appearances scheduled for 2024 but we are looking forward to getting some dates in the diary for next year.
Tuesday is YouTube day - we can't quite manage one every week but there is still plenty going on on our YouTube Channel
There are already over 250 videos to watch including basic skills, making beautiful jewellery, and a huge variety of beady projects. They are all easy to follow and presented by our talented team of tutors. You can learn so many things from earrings to tassels, Peyote Stitch to making a tiara, beading a bauble to creating Himmeli decorations.
