Description of Goods
The beads and kits illustrated are available in a variety of colours. The terms gold, silver and bronze refer to colour effects only unless stated otherwise and ‘crystal’ refers to a transparent glass, not a lead crystal or semi-precious material.
The bead sizes are quoted in millimetres and are accurate within manufacturing limits.
Different batches of beads can vary from one another - please order sufficient for your project.
We cannot give a guarantee for the durability of dyed items.

Colour representation
Within the limits of photography/print and web definition we work to represent the colours of beads and threads as accurately as possible both online and in print.
If you require assistance with colour matching for a specific project please contact us.

Order Processing

The mail order department processes orders Monday to Friday. It is closed bank holiday Mondays and for a few extra days at Christmas/New Year.
Most orders are sent out within one working day of being received, however it can take up to 3 working days after the order was placed for the order to be sent. Custom items and large wholesale orders may take up to seven days.

If, for any reason, an order will not be ready for despatch within three working days we will contact you, by phone or email, to inform you of any potential delay.
Please ensure when entering your contact details that we have a reliable telephone number or email contact for you so that we can address any queries promptly.

Orders are processed strictly in order of when they are received – we do not upgrade processing if a faster delivery service has been selected, we endeavour to send all orders out as quickly as we possibly can.

Ooops? We all have those moments when we forget the most important thing and we need it yesterday – let us know, by phone or email, making sure to quote the name the order is in and the order number - we will do what we can to help.
If you have any query with an order please contact us by phone 01543 417650 or email service@spellboundbead.co.uk as this will come through directly to the office. Please do not message through social media for order queries.

Copyright

Copyright can seem very complicated so we have tried to break down our copyright into as simple terms as we can.

All Spellbound designs in books, Spellbound kits, free downloads or payable downloads are copyright The Spellbound Bead Co. We spend many hours on the design, testing and writing of our patterns and we will protect our copyright through legal channels if necessary to ensure that it is not abused by others.

How does this affect you?

Selling Made Beadwork
We have an Angel Policy to allow restricted personal use of this intellectual property.
Handmade versions of our designs can be sold for charity, or profit, through permanent or temporary retail locations to include craft shows, internet sales and fundraising events. No large-scale manufacture or assembly-line production is allowable. The seller must make clear that these designs have been reproduced from a Spellbound pattern but are handmade by the seller and are not made by Spellbound. Any guarantee of service, supply or production lies with the seller not with Spellbound.

Copying, Sharing and Distributing our Patterns
With the exception of our Free Project and Technique Downloads (see below), we do not permit the reproduction of our instructions for teaching or any other purposes, or the photocopying or reproduction in any way, in whole or in part, of our instructions, for any reason.

Teaching Spellbound Designs
Photocopying, or reproducing our patterns in any other way, in whole or in part, is a direct infringement of our copyright. If you are a teacher and wish to teach a Spellbound kit to your class we can provide pre-packed kits to teaching groups at a small discount.
Teaching packs are for a minimum of six kits of one design; the discount is 15%. The kits must all be of the same design but can be different colourways. We ask for two weeks notice for teaching packs as these are always packed to order.

Teaching from downloadable PDF patterns
With the exception of our Free Project and Technique Downloads (see below), all of our downloadable instructions are subject to the same copyright conditions as patterns that we distribute in printed formats (see Copying, Sharing and Distributing our Patterns above).
If you wish to teach from one of our pdf patterns (not included in the Free Project and Technique Downloads exemption below) please contact us for details of a ‘per copy’ fee that would be payable to us prior to the date of the planned teaching session. On receipt of the per copy fee we will issue a permission in PDF format.

Copyright on Free Project and Technique Downloads
The Project and Technique sheets that are free to download from the website may be used for teaching purposes PROVIDED that all copies are clearly marked as being copyright The Spellbound Bead Co. We can provide printed copies of any of these downloads for a charge of 20p per printed side, plus postage at our advertised rates.
